Abubakar Malami, former attorney general of the federation (AGF) and his son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, will remain in Kuje Prison until January 7 pending the determination of their bail applications.
Justice Emeka Nwite issued the order on Friday after hearing arguments for and against the bail motions filed by Malami and his son, who are standing trial over a N9 billion money laundering allegation.
