BREAKING: Pastor Kumuyi Defies Warnings Abroad — Converts Security Officer While Preaching Under Threat

Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, the revered General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has shared a spine-tingling story from his recent preaching trip abroad, a story of courage, faith, and unexpected miracles.

According to the cleric, local church leaders had warned him to be cautious, noting that government agents closely monitored religious gatherings in the country he visited. Watch How It Happened.

Kumuyi recounted that the host pastor had repeatedly reminded him to avoid controversial topics. “They said, ‘We know what you preach and what you stand for, but here people need encouragement and guidance,’” he said. He noticed two uniformed security officers seated at the back of the church, ready to alert the authorities at the first sign of dissent. The warnings were clear: one wrong word could lead to deportation, closure of the church, or worse.

Despite this pressure, Kumuyi chose to follow what he described as God’s calling, preaching boldly and focusing entirely on the gospel. The highlight of the service came when he called attendees for altar response, offering them a chance to repent and dedicate their lives to Christ. In a move that left everyone stunned, one of the security officers raised his hand during the call and later publicly committed his life to God.

Reflecting on the experience, Kumuyi said it reinforced his belief that ministers must prioritize God’s word above fear, politics, or human restrictions. “It reminded me that God’s power can touch anyone, anywhere — even those meant to enforce control,” he said.
