BREAKING: Senator John Fetterman Makes Big Announcement

Democratic Senator John Fetterman, who has been undergoing treatment for clinical depression at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, is expected to return to the Senate during the week of April 17.

CNN reported:

Democratic Sen. John Fetterman, who checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last month for treatment for clinical depression, will return to the Senate during the week of April 17, according to a person familiar with his plans.

The Pennsylvania Democrat has made progress throughout his treatment, the source said, adding that his stay has been this long because doctors have tried to ensure his medication was effective.

The Senate will be on a two-week recess starting Monday.

John Fetterman, reportedly had speech processing issues related to a stroke and required closed captioning technology at his desk in the Senate chamber. He was later hospitalized twice in February 2023, first for lightheadedness and then for severe major depression. He has been living and working at Walter Reed Army Medical Center since.
