The sister of Nigerian award-winning singer, Burna Boy, Nissi, has dismissed the alleged sack of their mother, Bose Ogulu, as the musician’s manager.
Naijaonpoint reports that the news went viral after ChaftsAfrica shared an alleged Instagram story post by Burna Boy announcing that his mother, Bose Ogulu, would no longer be his manager.
Similarly, 𝕏 user with the handle, @Joyfultips, posted, “Just heard Burna Boy fired his mom, this whole thing is getting crazier.”
In response to the news, Nissi described the report as false.
She wrote: “FAKE NEWS.”
The report emerged amid Burna Boy’s low ticket sales drama.
Recall that Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign of Weakness’ US tour was cancelled on Wednesday evening over alleged low ticket sales.
Meanwhile, Burna Boy recently created a stir at his concert in Denver, United States.
The Grammy-award winning artiste asked a couple to leave for allegedly sleeping during his performance.
The incident occurred midway through his set when Burna Boy noticed the couple in the front row.
He stopped performing and asked the man to escort his girlfriend out of the venue.
Initially, the couple resisted, but the crowd urged them to leave, and they eventually exited.
Burna Boy continued his performance after they were gone.
