Offset sent fans into a frenzy this week after briefly sharing a cryptic Instagram Story that many saw as a tongue-in-cheek response to rumors surrounding Cardi B’s newborn with Stefon Diggs.
The rapper posted a plain black screen with the words “My kid lol,” a message that vanished almost immediately, but not before sparking a burst of speculation across social media.
... landed right as the internet began dissecting an old Georgia statute that presumes a husband to be the legal father of any child born during a marriage.
Attorneys clarified that Diggs can file for legitimation to establish parental rights, and Cardi currently holds decision-making authority for her child.

Cardi B then posted a series of messages describing ongoing harassment and threats tied to her personal life, saying the situation has escalated over the past year to the point that she feels unsafe.
“Y’all be thinking it’s so funny and it’s not,” she wrote. “I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger.”
Cardi later spoke on X Spaces, opening up about postpartum depression and says she has spent most of her time at home recovering and caring for her kids, despite accusations that she is constantly out.
“I can’t take this anymore,” she said. “Leave me the f–k alone.”
