Cassie Ventura, the former girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, is expected to testify against him later today in court.
Diddy’s sex trafficking trial kicked off yesterday (May 13) and in their opening arguments, prosecutors claimed that Diddy “used lies, drugs, threats and violence to threaten and coerce first Cassie.”
A former sex worker, Daniel Phillip, also testified and claimed that the disgraced music mogul paid him “to have sex with him in front of male escorts.”
Phillip alleged he was paid between $700 and $6,000 on several occasions between 2012 and 2014 to have sex with Cassie while Diddy watched and masturbated. He says Diddy gave him drugs on one occasion and that he even witnessed Diddy being abusive towards the singer.
The defense claimed that Cassie is a “capable, strong” woman and that she chose to stay with the star and that she was “not coerced” to take part in any of Diddy’s infamous freak-offs.
Diddy has maintained his innocence and denies all of the allegations against him.
