The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Nyesom Wike has vowed to back President Bola Tinubu’s supporters vying for elective offices.
Speaking during the commissioning of the Provided Engineering Infrastructure in Wuye District, the Minister warned that there is an impending “political tsunami” in Nigeria.
He urged those who are still undecided about where they stand, to make a decision as soon as possible.
“For all of you who are running an election, who are supporting Mr. President, be assured I will also support you. I have no regrets.
“I said here, if you are supporting Asiwaju, I am going to support you. Anywhere you are, the moment I know you are with Bola Tinubu, you get my support 100 percent.
“So if you know you have not changed your mind, better change your mind because very soon, there will be a political tsunami. It is Asiwaju all the way,” Wike said.
The minister also commended staff members of the FCT Administration for their diligent duties in ensuring the provision of infrastructural developments.
“Let me use the opportunity to thank everybody who works with FCT, let me say stand up and take a bow, you have done well. All of you who work in FCT, stand up and take a bow. In fact, stand up and take a bow.
“You have done well. You have done well. Those who are not happy, may they not be happy in their lives. I am so happy. Thank you very much for your support,” he added.
