Chelsea fans finally got to see new signing Andrey Santos in action… for the Brazil national team.
The 18-year-old has been rewarded with his first international appearance at senior level, despite yet playing a single minute for the Blues.

Santos signed from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama as one of Chelsea’s eight new signings in January.
However, he was unable to secure a work permit, so has been sent back on loan to his former club for crucial game time.
Despite the stumbling block, Santos has been able to prove his worth on the international stage as he made first appearance for Brazil.
The midfielder was named in the starting XI for their international friendly against Morocco on Saturday.
Despite losing 2-1, Santos played 65 minutes of the match and showed some impressive ability in the tackle.
It was a debut that he can be proud of, and something that he can build on as he eyes his first appearance for Chelsea.

Santos has previously shown off his talent for their U20 side. He helped guide Brazil to victory at the South American U20 Championship, finishing as the joint top scorer on six goals with teammate Vitor Roque.
Santos will remain at Vasco da Gama until the summer before returning to Chelsea for pre-season.
