Kyle Chrisley is facing new legal issues following an arrest in Tennessee late last week.
The 34-year-old, who appeared on the first season of Chrisley Knows Best, was taken into custody on Dec. 20 and charged with multiple offenses, including domestic assault, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, assaulting a first responder and resisting arrest.
He was later booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
Chrisley is the son of Todd Chrisley and his ex-wife, Teresa Terry, though he has long been estranged from his father. Representatives for local law enforcement and the Chrisley family did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
This is not Chrisley’s first encounter with law enforcement. In 2023, he was arrested following a workplace altercation in Tennessee. That case was later closed, according to court officials.
His sister, Savannah Chrisley, has publicly addressed the family rift. “My dad has every reason not to speak to Kyle,” she said on her podcast in July. “Just because it’s your child doesn’t mean that you have to accept abuse.”
