In fact, so many negative comments have come along from some of the netizens as some even want to boycott the show. Not just The Chosen, lately whichever company tried to show their support with Pride month has been facing backlash. As something similar happened when Target introduced Pride merchandise some weeks back in its stores.

After the creators of The Chosen came across the backlash on social media some even asked for a boycott of the show. They have finally reacted to the backlash. Jon Root, the sports reporter managed to ask the show on Twitter about the whole thing.

The show’s official Twitter account then responded in the same saying “Just like with our hundreds of cast and crew who have different beliefs (or not belief at all) than we do, we will work with anyone on our show who helps us portray and honor the authentic Jesus”.The show had even tweeted saying “let the show speak for itself”.
