Corey Feldman Walks Back Explosive Claim, Says Corey Haim Did NOT Molest Him
Just days after igniting a firestorm, Corey Feldman is now walking back one of the most shocking claims from his newly released documentary.
Feldman is now denying that his late co star Corey Haim ever “molested” him while the two were filming the 1987 vampire classic The Lost Boys.
And according to Feldman’s legal team, the entire situation has been badly mischaracterized.
Feldman Says Documentary Was Released Without His Consent
In a statement provided to Page Six, Feldman’s attorneys claim he had no involvement in the documentary Corey Feldman vs The World, despite being its subject.
“Mr. Feldman did not have any involvement in the documentary,” his legal team said, adding that the producers allegedly made the film without his knowledge and obtained footage through dishonest means.
His attorneys say Feldman is now investigating how the footage was acquired, whether the producers had legal rights to use it, and how his name, image, and likeness were used. They also say he plans to pursue legal action once that investigation is complete.
Clarifying the ‘Molestation’ Language
Feldman’s team also moved quickly to clarify what he actually meant in the documentary.
According to his attorney, Feldman did not intend to accuse Corey Haim of physical sexual assault. Instead, they say Feldman was describing unwanted advances, not molestation in the literal or legal sense.
“Mr. Feldman’s statement that Mr. Haim ‘molested’ him was in reference to advances, not physical molestation,” the statement explained. “Mr. Feldman makes no claim that Corey Haim physically molested him.”
That distinction is important and one many critics felt was missing from the original documentary.
Feldman Repeats the Denial on Instagram
Feldman doubled down on the clarification in a statement shared on Instagram, saying plainly that he is not accusing Corey Haim of molesting him and did not authorize the documentary in any way.
He also suggested he is once again being targeted and misrepresented.
“I have been a target of ongoing gaslighting and attempts to damage my career and reputation for a very long time,” Feldman wrote, adding that he believes the truth will eventually come out.
What Feldman Originally Said
In the documentary, Feldman recalled an interaction in which Haim allegedly asked him to “mess around,” claiming it was normal behavior in the industry. Feldman said he was confused and uncomfortable and did not reciprocate.
Those remarks were widely reported as an accusation of molestation, which sparked outrage, confusion, and grief, especially since Haim died in 2010 and cannot respond.
Corey Haim’s Mother Strongly Denies It All
Following the initial reports, Corey Haim’s mother, Judy Haim, forcefully denied Feldman’s claims. She said there was “no way in hell” such an incident occurred and accused Feldman of lying to stay relevant.
She has consistently defended her son, saying he was heterosexual and deeply misunderstood in life and death.
Why This Is So Complicated
Both actors were minors at the time. Feldman was 16 and Haim was 14 when The Lost Boys was released. The allegations, retractions, and clarifications now sit in a deeply sensitive space involving trauma, memory, wording, and accountability.
