Court restrains PDP from enforcing Wabara’s suspension

Wabara

An Abia State High Court presided over by Justice LTC Eruba has stopped the enforcement of the purported suspension of the former Senate President and the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the People’s Democratic Party, Adolphus Wabara.

In a court order made available to Sunday PUNCH, Justice Eruba restrained Abia PDP leadership, led by Elder Abraham Amah, from enforcing the said suspension.

Wabara had, in a suit marked HUK/8/2025, dragged Amah before the court, seeking an order restraining the defendant from enforcing the purported suspension.

Granting the prayers of the claimant, the court ordered that “The defendant is restrained from enforcing the suspension of the claimant/applicant from the People’s Democratic Party, or in any way affecting his position as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the PDP till the motion on notice is determined.”
