DaBaby scored a major W in court this week after a California judge dismissed him from an ongoing lawsuit stemming from his infamous bowling alley brawl with DaniLeigh’s brother.

Back in February 2022, Brandon Bills, the brother of DaBaby’s ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh, filed a suit claiming the Charlotte rapper put his hands on him during a scuffle at Corbin Bowl in L.A. over three years ago.

According to the lawsuit, Bills said DaBaby rolled up on him “aggressively” and started barking threats before allegedly throwing blows that left him with “severe injury.”

On Wednesday, Los Angeles County Judge Huey P. Cotton ruled to dismiss the lawsuit, accusing Bills of dragging his feet on the case. The court found that he never properly served DaBaby… not through the sheriff, publication, or within the legal time window.

“The only thing that made timely service difficult was plaintiff’s own lack of urgency,” Judge Cotton wrote, calling out Bills for not moving with “diligence” in pursuing his claims.

Bills tried to claim one of DaBaby’s security guards flashed a weapon at a process server in North Carolina, but the judge wasn’t buying that excuse either, noting the incident didn’t even involve the plaintiff and occurred two years after the complaint was first filed.
