Businesswoman and socialite Dabota Lawson has reacted to those dragging her over her alleged feelings for married monarch, Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse.
During her fallout with her friend, Diiadem, she accused Dabota of admiring Olori Atuwatse’s husband. Diiadem claimed that Dabota couldn’t stop gushing over the man.
“Or should we talk about your obvious admiration for Olori Atuwatse’s husband? Someone you couldn’t stop gushing about? Lol”.
Following Diiadem’s statement, many Nigerians have been dragging her for crushing on a married man.
Responding, she asked whether it was wrong to admire great men. She noted how Christian women pray to marry a man like Boaz and noted how people openly have crushes on celebrities.
“I didn’t know that admiring great men was suddenly a bad thing. As Christians, don’t women pray for their Boaz? And don’t people openly have harmless celebrity crushes?”.
In an interview, the beauty entrepreneur opened up about her failed marriage to billionaire Prince Sunny Aku. She revealed that her parents were very happy to have her back and didn’t question her. Dabota claimed that her ex-husband admitted his wrong and apologised to her; however, she has moved past that stage.
Recall that Dabota Lawson got married in a talk-of-the-town wedding to billionaire businessman, Prince Sunny Aku. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last one year, as the couple separated in 2015.
Years back, the beauty entrepreneur narrated how she suffered after divorcing her billionaire ex-husband, Sunny Aku. The Rivers-born ex-beauty queen, said she started her business under the staircase of a mall and her friends mocked her for divorcing a billionaire to sell under the staircase. She recounted how she was mocked for not taking anything out of the marriage.
Hinting at the cause of her divorce, Dabota called out a former ex-beauty queen for sleeping with her ex-husband. She alleged that the lady slept with her ex-husband and had asked her ‘homie’ (close male friend) if he was the father of her daughter.
Though not revealing the lady’s identity, she however, gave a hint to who she was.
