Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has addressed those calling on EFCC to arrest him.
Kemi Filani reported days back that in an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze, Blessing said she was diagnosed with breast cancer at a Nigerian hospital, but doesn’t know the stage she was in. She admitted she doesn’t have a specific amount for the surgery cost, and was asking for money, because she didn’t know what to expect.
During an Instagram live session, he asked whether he had raised donations for Blessing. Freeze said he believes Blessing has a type of cancer because he doesn’t think she would lie about such.
He stated that he also believed her, just like many who donated money to her. According to him, the report she sent him was the same one later found to be fake.
“I actually believed Blessing CEO initially because I dont think anyone would come out and use cancer to lie. Cancer is a very terrible disease. The report she sent to me is the same one that was later discovered to be fake
To those saying the EFCC should arrest me for supporting her, did I raise any donations for her? Well, I still believe she has a type of cancer because I don’t think she would just come out and call cancer on herself”.
The doctor, whom Blessing CEO claimed diagnosed her with breast cancer, in a press statement through the Nigerian Medical Association (Delta State Branch), said he never issued any medical report to Blessing and confirmed that he resides in Asaba, contrary to her claim that he lives in Enugu. The Medical Association confirmed that Blessing doctored the result and called on authorities to do the needful and protect the unsuspecting members of the public from being taken advantage of.
Recall that a week ago, Blessing cried out to Nigerians over her stage 4 battle with cancer. In an Instagram video, she revealed that she was scared and tired of being strong while she was going gradually.
Elsewhere in the interview, Blessing addressed claims from a lady that she forged her medical results. She asked why the lady hadn’t come out to prove it and challenged her to court.
During an interview on Arise TV, a Nigerian medical doctor, Dr Adefunke Arowolo, exposed Blessing for fabricating her cancer result. While on the show, Blessing presented a medical report, which turned out to be the same viral document a family is currently suing her over, unknowingly to her, that the doctor contacted the said doctor whose name appeared on the document.
In another interview with Egugun, Blessing said she can never apologise to Nigerians for receiving money from them, and revealed that she made N13 million through the donations. Blessing clarified that it wasn’t her fault that she exaggerated because she relied on what the doctor told her about the cancerous lumps in her breast; however, it wasn’t true.
Following the backlash and criticisms she received, she deactivated her Instagram page.
Joining his partner, IVD had also deactivated his Instagram account. Kemi Filani checked his Instagram account and noticed it can’t be found.
