DDG roasted podcaster Joe Budden on X on Saturday after Budden made insensitive remarks about his recent split from Halle Bailey.
Budden claimed he was glad the couple had split because he can stop hearing about DDG because he has no idea what the rapper does.

“They’ve broken up, so I don’t get to keep seeing this n-gga’s name attached to this girl’s name, and I don’t know him for nothing as a stand-alone, and for me, it’s important based on their own name and merit and what they have done,” he added.
This week, DDG confirmed the split, although there have been whispers for a few months about a suspected breakup.
After hearing Budden’s min-rant on the Joe Budden Podcast, DDG lashed out on X, formerly Twitter, to clown Budden for being old and failing at music.

DDG says he doesn’t mind females gossiping about him but draws the line when it comes to men.
“n-gga got 30 years MAX of life left & speakin on a relationship of people the same age as yo son you’n take care of. I hope u forget to take your magnesium pills today u old b*tch @JoeBudden,” he concluded.
