Esther Kalejaye isn’t the only one who got dual citizenship this year. In March, Nigerian singer, Lamboginny officially became a US citizen. The musician expressed gratitude to God as he stated that words can’t describe how grateful he is to his maker and his partner, Bambii for standing by him throughout the process.

He revealed that he cried, danced, and screamed in disbelief at how God turned his life around and is a living testimony of His grace.

Last year, Fuji singer, Pasuma’s daughter, Aliyah Fiyinfoluwa Odetola was also officially pronounced a citizen of Canada.

The then 21-year-old announced the good news on her Instagram story with a photo of her beside the Canada flag and balloons. In a video posted online, the singer’s daughter could be seen showing off her passport as she facetimed her father.

In 2022, Uche Jombo couldn’t keep calm as she officially became a US Citizen. After being married to an American, Kenny Rodriquez in 2012, Uche Jombo was finally an American citizen; and her colleagues, Ini Edo, Omoni Oboli, and others couldn’t keep calm about the feat.

To add to it, Nollywood actor, Osinachi revealed that he had finally gotten his green card to the US. Showing off his passport, Osinachi vowed not to step foot in Nigeria again, as he dared his fans or anyone who ever saw him in Nigeria to bill him.
