The Delta State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of an Uber driver and the assault of a commercial sex worker in Warri.This was disclosed in a statement released by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, on Friday.
According to police reports, the suspects hired the services of the Uber driver and invited a commercial sex worker, taking both to a nightclub. After leaving the nightclub, the suspects allegedly strangled and killed the driver.
The statement read: “Viewer discretion is advised!
“We have arrested these two suspects who hired an Uber driver and also invited a commercial sex worker in Warri around December last year.
“They first took them to a nightclub and then, on their way to the supposed destination, they strangled and killed the driver and threw the girl out of the vehicle.”
