Former NFL star Dez Bryant has ended his online beef with rapper Nicki Minaj and offer a public apology to the rap megastar.
“On some G s–t.. @NICKIMINAJ, I really don’t like the misunderstanding we had between each other .. I apologize for bringing up your husband’s past..it’s a shame only negative things make headlines between two black people who have much influence on our community,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
He continued, “I’m at war every day with myself to better myself for my kids and the kids who are watching me, and the last thing I wanna do is argue over stupid s–t. I pray for only peace and positivity your way.”
The Lord will grant you peace, Dez.
Nothing makes me respect someone more, than a public display of accountability.I accept your apology.

Nicki quickly responded, giving Bryant props for his “public display of accountability,” and accepted his apology, but also stated that if he still wanted to fight, her husband, Kenneth Petty, was down, because “He def got them hands.”
Minaj and Bryant clashed on X after she jumped into his rant about Jerry Jones. Since Bryant’s comments touched on Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, a company Minaj claims still owes her money from the 2021 Tidal sale, the rapper fired back, teasing that for every “Jerry Jones” or “NFL” story Bryant told, she’d share one of her own.
The exchange quickly escalated, with the rapper offering $10 million if Bryant would fight her husband, accusing him of having “beat [his] own mom.” Bryant shot back, insisting he’s been lied about for years and saying he’d take the money and “stomp” her husband “right in front of you,” ending with “it’s ROC for life.”
