Barau FC’s Nana Abraham Debunks the Claim
Speaking about the incident, Abraham clarified exactly what happened:
“That is a false statement. My throat was never slaughtered. It was during the course of the match when we equalised our goal, the fans of Katsina United started throwing objects towards our bench and due to that cause, an object hit my, my chest and, lower off my shin. That’s when, I, I saw blood coming out. So that’s what happened, and not slaughtered rather.”
