The attorney for Sean “Diddy” Combs has hit a new low after he tried to excuse the viral beatdown video of his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, by accusing her of cheating on him.
“Victim-1 was looking through his phone and saw that – then hit him in the head with a cellphone, and took his clothing,” Marc Agnifilo said. “So he comes out in a towel. These two people were in love. Victim-1 ended up marrying the trainer that Mr. Combs got for her. They had been cheating on each other for years. But now she had two kids with the trainer. Years later, she realized she had a good thing with Mr. Combs.”
After leaving Diddy, Cassie went on to date and marry personal trainer Alex Fine. The couple share two children together.
In her lawsuit, Cassie stated that she tried to leave Diddy several times, but that he would find her and force her to return. When she left for the final time, she says the rapper tracked her down and brutally r-ped her in her home.
Fans are outraged that Diddy’s legal team would resort to victim-blaming, especially since Diddy admitted to abusing her and claimed her was in a “dark place” and that he needed rehab to get himself clean.
Several other lawsuits against the mogul accuse him of similar crimes.
