Sean “Diddy” Combs will remain in jail and wait for his May trial after his legal team decided to voluntarily dismiss his bail appeal.

Last month, the disgraced mogul was denied bail for a third time. His legal team immediately filed an appeal, trying to get him out and placed on home arrest.

“The Court finds that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community,” the judge wrote in his ruling.

In September, Diddy was charged with one count of racketeering conspiracy, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison; one count of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison; and one count of transportation for purposes of prostitution, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

He has also had dozens of civil suits filed against him by alleged victims who say he drugged and sexually assaulted them at several of his events or in his studios.
