Sean “Diddy” Combs is still fighting to have his sex trafficking and racketeering charges against him dropped, and now his attorneys are claiming that the search warrants used to search his homes in Los Angeles and Miami were “unconstitutional.”

His attorneys filed a motion including information that the judge who approved the warrants should have seen, claiming prosecutors intentionally left the information out.

“But it worked — the government got its warrants, leaked damaging information, and then executed its military-style raids at Combs’s residences,” the filing reads. “Here, rather than giving the reviewing magistrate a fair summary, the government hid exculpatory evidence to bolster its case.”

They also claimed that some of the information used to obtain the warrant came from the testimony of Producer-1, who they say is not a credible source and says that the government is not even planning to call Producer-1 to testify in court.

The motion seeks to suppress all evidence obtained through these searches. If the evidence is not suppressed, Diddy’s legal team is asking to grant a hearing to review the way the government obtained the warrants.
