DJ Cuppy Brags About Being Twitter’s Most Influential Black Woman

Most sought-after Nigerian female disc jockey and musician, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, professionally called DJ Cuppy claims to be the most powerful black woman Twitter.

This is coming after the young multi-talented act shared a rating data of five most Nigerian act on Twitter in the month of April. The ratings placed Davido at the top of the list as the most followed at.

The African Giant, Burna Boy placed 2nd, followed by Starboy Entertainment head, Wizkid at the 3rd spot with DJ Cuppy occupying the 4th position and lastly, comedian, Mr Macaroni at the 5th spot.

DJ Cuppy bragged about being the most influential black woman on the bird app after placing at number 4 on the list of Nigerian celebrities with the newest Twitter followers in April. “I just be MIGHT be most influential Black Woman on @Twitter. MOST NEW FOLLOWERS IN APRIL 2022”, she tweeted. See screenshot below.

Meanwhile; Organizers of the annual Headies Awards yesterday, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 released the full list of nominees for the 15th edition.

In the nomination list, raving recording acts including Portable, Magixx, Ugoccie, Fave, Oxlade, Ayra Starr, Ruger, Fireboy DML, among other artists were nominated in various categories.

Missing in the nomination list was CKay whose ‘Love Nwantiti’ song sold over 8 Million units globally. Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the exclusion of CKay from the 2022 Headies nominees.

Whiles many expressed excitement at the nomination of their favorite, others are in the view that CKay was robbed at this years nominations. Some believe CKay who had the biggest song of the year deserve to be nominated. Below are screenshots to some reactions.
