DNA court proceedings stall Mohbad’s burial plans

The ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the burial of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, reached a critical point today as his father publicly addressed the delays hampering the final rites.
Speaking outside the courthouse, Mohbad’s father explained that the scheduled DNA test remains the key factor holding back the burial process.
“Today is the DNA court case, and we are here now. My lawyer is here. I’m telling the whole world that this is the most important thing, and this is exactly what is delaying the burial movement. After the DNA is done, we can now move on to the burial aspect,” he said.
His remarks underscore the central role the DNA test plays in resolving ongoing family and legal disputes related to the late singer’s case. The test is expected to provide clarity needed before authorities and the family can proceed with the final burial arrangements.
As the legal process continues, Nigerians await the outcome with keen interest, hoping it will bring closure to a case that has remained a subject of national attention.
