Don Lemon has responded to Kanye West accusing him of starting the rumors that Ye and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the Grammys after turning up uninvited.
“This goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies [sic]. 3 decades of innovating music and they always K–NS like this,” Ye wrote on Instagram Stories.
Lemon responded, denying that he had anything to do with the rumor. He says that he spoke with Ye’s team and actually “corrected” the rumor.
“I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere,” he explained. Lemon says that Ye did not enter the awards ceremony at the same entrance as the other celebrities.
Lemon also responded to Ye, calling him a racial slur.
“And you, of all people, calling me a c–n?” he said. “Negro, that Make America Great Again hat must be too tight on your head.”
