Donald Trump Says He is Getting Arrested Tuesday

Donald Trump claims he could be arrested on Tuesday as more and more investigations of the former president heats up.

The Heat is on Donald Trump

A federal grand jury investigating President Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents at the former president’s home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla. – and his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot – subpoenaed numerous Trump employees.

The grand jury wants to know what staffers at Mar-a-Lago may have heard while working at the estate.

“They’re casting an extremely wide net – anyone and everyone who might have seen something,” a Justice Department source told CNN.

The Justice Department particularly wants to learn what might have been seen or heard at Mar-a-Lago in the months after the former president left office.

A Mar-a-Lago staffer who appeared on security-camera footage moving boxes together with Trump aide Walt Nauta was interviewed. FBI agents recovered approximately 100 classified documents from Mar-a-Lago last summer.

Further classified documents were uncovered from a box at Mar-a-Lago in December after the Justice Department told Trump’s legal team to conduct another sweep for classified documents.

“After we did the search in December and found within this box of thousands that there were a couple of pages that had a little marking at the bottom, which we turned over, after that, we found out that she had scanned the box so that it would be digitized,” Trump attorney Tim Parlatore told CNN last month. “She had no idea that there was any classification markings on anything. And as soon as we found out about that, we called up the DOJ to let them know and immediately provided them access to it.”

Former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Dan Scavino and Pentagon Chief of Staff Kash Patel were subpoenaed.

Special Counsel Jack Smith, who was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland, currently has Trump defense attorney Evan Corcoran in his sights. Corcoran has been fighting the subpoena citing attorney-client privilege.

The grand jury heard testimony from Trump communications director Margo Martin on Thursday, CNN reported.

These subpoenas come as the legal walls close around the former president. The Manhattan DA could charge Trump in the Stormy Daniels hush money case as soon as next week.

Trump mocked Biden in January on TruthSocial after his own classified documents scandal broke.

“The White House just announced that there are no LOGS or information of any kind on visitors to the Wilmington house and flimsy, unlocked, and unsecured, but now very famous, garage,” Trump wrote. “Maybe they are smarter than we think! This is one of seemingly many places where HIGHLY CLASSIFIED documents are stored (in a big pile on the damp floor),”

Trump continued: “Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!”

Arrest Coming Soon?

Donald Trump stated this morning that he would be arrested Tuesday on charges relating to the $130,000 he allegedly paid in hush money to adult actor Stormy Daniels.

In a Truth Social platform post, the former president also called on his supporters to “protest, take our nation back” ― in what some center-left commentators interpreted as a call to violence.
