The Dormaahene has reportedly shared money with children gathered at his palace following Aduana FC’s impressive 2–0 victory over Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

Aduana FC secured the victory on Sunday, September 27, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, with Stephen Amankona opening the scoring before Seidu Saana sealed the win in stoppage time.

Despite playing with 10 men for more than half of the game following Raymond Agyemang’s sending-off, the Dormaa-based side held on to their lead and added a second goal late in the match.

The result sparked celebrations among Aduana supporters, with the Dormaahene joining in the excitement at his palace.

In a video circulating online, the famous traditional ruler is seen sharing money with children who had gathered at the palace following the club’s victory.

The children could be seen receiving the cash as the celebrations continued, creating a memorable moment for those present.

Aduana’s win was particularly significant as it was their first league victory over Kotoko in Kumasi since 2021. The three points also took Aduana to seven points after four matches in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The victory has given the club’s supporters plenty to celebrate after the team showed resilience to defeat Kotoko despite being reduced to 10 men.
