After months of anticipation, Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Wizkid has finally released his fifth studio album, Morayo, to the delight of fans worldwide. The album dropped in the early hours of Friday and is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Wizkid has earlier revealed that Morayo is dedicated to Jane Dolapo Balogun, his late mother, who passed away in August 2023.

Whizkid’s Journey to Stardom
Born Ayodeji Balogun, Wizkid rose to fame with his 2011 debut album, Superstar, which catapulted him into the limelight. Over the years, he has released critically acclaimed projects, including:

- More Love, Less Ego (2022)
His career highlights include a Grammy win in 2021 for his collaboration with Beyoncé on Brown Skin Girl. Additionally, his Made in Lagos album was recently recognized as the most-streamed Nigerian album on Apple Music, further cementing his global influence.
With Morayo, Wizkid once again showcases his ability to evolve musically while staying connected to his roots. The album is already trending, with fans and critics praising its production, lyrical depth, and diverse soundscapes.
