Drake is setting the record straight on rumors he’s had plastic surgery.
The rapper addressed speculation that he underwent abdominal etching.
Abdominal etching is a procedure that removes fat to sculpt more defined abs, and the rumors began to resurface this year after he posted a shirtless photo months back.
“No,” he told Bobbi Althoff on her Not This Again podcast, after she brought up that “people think you got a procedure done.”
Drake said while cosmetic procedures are common, he hasn’t had one himself.
“People also say that I got a BBL,” he went on, referring to the popular Brazilian Butt Lift. “They call me ‘BBL Drizzy.’”
He joked further, adding, “I don’t know if my wagon looked crazy when I walked in here.”
The Grammy winner did admit, however, that the viral photo wasn’t entirely untouched and that he did use Facetune.
“I came from the gym, I was sweaty in that pic,” he explained. “Maybe I heightened the saturation or something on it. I think I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that.”
Plastic surgery rumors surrounding have been circulating for years, but reached their peak in 2024 when Metro Boomin released a diss track titled “BBL Drizzy” during Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar.
