Disturbing footage has emerged showing a drunk driver who mowed down a bride on her wedding night screaming and crying inside a police station after her arrest.
Jamie Lee Komoroski, 27, had been drinking at several bars in Folly Beach, South Carolina, before getting behind the wheel of her Toyota Camry and crashing into a golf cart carrying a bride, her groom and two wedding guests as they left their wedding reception on April 28, 2023.
Komoroski was driving at 65mph in a 25mph zone at triple the legal blood-alcohol limit when she crashed, killing Samantha Hutchinson, 34, and seriously injuring her new husband, Aric Hutchinson, 36, and their guests.
When officers arrived at the scene, Komoroski took no responsibility and claimed she “didn’t do anything wrong” as she was taken into custody.

She continued this behaviour at Folly Beach police station, where she whined and cried and demanded officers allow her to call her father, according to new footage obtained by WCSC.
“I just wanna like, get this over with and go home,” she said tearfully while handcuffed to a chair.
“I can’t call my dad?” she asked before an officer told her she was not allowed to make a phone call yet.
“Well, what did I do?” Komoroski asked again, seemingly trying to deny her actions outright.
“Nobody has any proof of anything that I did, so give me the right to call my dad.”
At that point, the driver appears to notice the wall-mounted camera in the room and addresses it directly.
“Oh, hi camera, yeah, I’m crying because he’s not letting me call my f–king father, even though they haven’t proven s–t and don’t have any right for me not to be able to contact my family or anyone that I want to, so yeah, hello, I’m crying,” she said.
“Ooh, I’m just being a little baby,” Komoroski said in a mocking tone.
Samantha Hutchinson died while still wearing her wedding dress, while her husband, Aric, suffered a brain injury and several broken bones.

Aric spoke in court during Komoroski’s sentencing in 2024, revealing his wife’s last words.
“On the golf cart, she told me she didn’t want the night to end, and I kissed her on the forehead, and then the next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital,” the bereaved husband said.
Despite her previous actions in the police station, Komoroski would plead guilty to reckless homicide, felony DUI causing death, and two counts of felony DUI causing great bodily injury.
She promised to spend the rest of her life helping addicts and warning others about drinking and driving.
In court, Komoroski said she was “devastated, deeply ashamed and sorry” for what she did.
“I wish I could go back and undo this terrible tragedy. But I cannot.
“I will live the rest of my life with intense regret for what happened that night,” she said at the time.
“I pray God stands by the side of my victims and their families and loved ones for the rest of their lives.”
