Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has forwarded the names of commissioner-designates to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.
The names of the six commissioner designates were contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, and sent to the Assembly on Tuesday.
The nominees are Marie Olabisi-Idaomi, Paddy Iyamu, Paul Ohonbamu, Washington Osifo, Lucky Eseigbe and Andrew Ijegbai.
“I write at the instance of the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo to forward for the consideration and confirmation Assembly, the underlisted names as Commissioner designates,” the letter read.
“They are Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, Washington Osifo, Paddy lyamu, Lucky Eseigbe, Andrew ljegbai and Marie Olabisi-Idaomi.
“While looking forward to the expeditious confirmation of the names, please accept the assurances of the warm regards of Mr. Governor.”
