Edo PDP Appoints Fidel Igenegbale As Senior Adviser

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has appointed ESV Fidel Igenegbale as Senior Special Adviser on Political Matters to the State Chairman.

Naijaonpoint reports that the appointment was announced in a statement on September 29, 2025.

Igenegbale is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and has held key positions in both professional and political fields.

Within the PDP, he once served as Chairman of Esan Central Local Government, where he was actively involved in grassroots mobilization and party administration.

He also previously served as Edo State Secretary of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.

The party described him as a loyal member with years of experience in service, saying that his new role is aimed at consolidating unity and progress within the party in Edo State.

Igenegbale, who is married with children, is expected to bring his professional background and political knowledge into the advisory role.

In other news, The Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government has announced the cancellation of the Independence Anniversary parade.

Naijaonpoint reports that the parade was previously scheduled to mark the 65th Independence on Wednesday, 1st October.
