The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has recalled Taiwo Olatunbosun to the State Executive Council as Commissioner for Information, barely a week after dissolving the cabinet.
The move was confirmed in a recall letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, and dated August 18, 2025.
The letter stated that Olatunbosun, a former Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly “is to continue to function as Commissioner for Information,” with the recall taking effect immediately.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Olayinka Oyebode, announced the development in a statement on Monday.
