Nigerian lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has declared that former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, deserve his current oppression because he was worse to critics while in office.
Naijaonpoint reports that Adeyanju, in a post via 𝕏, described El-Rufai as an unrepentant tyrant and an oppressor.
According to Adeyanju, if El-Rufai is given another opportunity to get into power, he would do worse than when he was governor, adding that anyone supporting him is a desperate, unprincipled politician who wants to grab power at all costs
He wrote: “El-Rufai is an unrepentant tyrant and oppressor. If given another opportunity to get access to power, he will do worst than he did in the past.
“Anyone supporting him is a hungry cretin and a desperate, unprincipled politician who wants to grab power at all costs.
“During COVID-19 when Sheikh Bello Yabo, an Islamic cleric, criticized him, El-Rufai waited until the eve of Sallah, then sent police from Kaduna all the way to Sokoto to arrest and detain him.
“The current oppressors of El-Rufai are nicer to him than he was to his critics. El-Rufai deserves the karma he is getting.”
Meanwhile, Adeyanju recently stated that the removal of the immediate past Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, is karma for him.
Adeyanju made this known while addressing the press on the removal of Egbetokun.
Adeyanju stated that the former IGP inherited many enemies for his principal, President Bola Tinubu, while in service.
While recalling the ordeal of former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, and ex-Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), Adeyanju warned public office holders to remain circumspect in dealing with Nigerian citizens, stating that power is transient.
