The Interim Organizing Secretary, and Mainstream faction Chairman, of APC Enugu state, Comrade AC Ude has called out state party stakeholders, over their silence about the alleged diversion and embezzlement of campaign funds by the factional state Chairman, Barrister Ugochukwu Agballah.

According to information made available to UgamaTv, Comrade Ude dragged Chief Uche Nnaji the gubernatorial candidate of APC in Enugu State, his running mate Bar George Ogara, Enugu East Senatorial candidate Princess Ada Ogbu, Mrs Ginika Tor and the factional party secretary Robert Ngwu, alleging that their silence about the crisis in the party shows thier involvement in the fraud being committed in the Party.
The Interim Organizing Secretary stated that he has been vindicated by the revelations made by the Publicity Secretary, Charles Solo- ako, of the Ugochukwu Agballa- led faction of the party.
In his statement, Mr Solo-ako had alleged that Ugochukwu Agballa fraudulently diverted and embezzled APC presidential delegates funds and the 2023 elections party agents funds.
The Mainstream Chairman described the party in the state as almost dead, noting that the alleged embezzlement by Agballah has further crippled the party at the grassroot level.
He also attributed the “abysmal performance of the party in the state to the inactions of the party’s national body, to thier protest against Agballah at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
He further appealed to stakeholders, the National Headquarters and the President- Elect to set up an investigative committee to look at the mal-administration of the party in the State.
