Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is set to get a defensive boost ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in March as Orlando Pirates star Olisa Ndah is set to return to action after missing the last five months due to an leg fracture, Soccernet.ng reports.

According to a recent report from The SouthAfrican, Orlando Pirates star Ndah is set to return to action. The Super Eagles defender fractured his Tibia and Fibula in September 2024 and has been out of action since then. But he has returned to training and should return to action in the coming days.
Ndah could make it back in time for Orlando Pirates’ South African Premier League game against Cape Town City on February 22. But if he does not return in time, he will be available for the game against Cape Town City.
Ndah’s availability for the Super Eagles gives Chelle an extra option
Ndah has experience wearing the Super Eagles jersey, as he has been in the squad multiple times. Although he does not rank high in the pecking order of Super Eagles defenders, he is used to the African terrain and is a good backup in case of any injury.
The Super Eagles are already stocked up in the midfield and attack. And Ndah’s presence will give Chelle an extra option.
