Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has been ranked as the fifth-best winger in Europe’s top seven leagues according to data from Data MB, a platform that used data to analyze players’ performances.

Lookman has enjoyed a brilliant campaign with Atalanta, following up his heroics of last season with a series of impressive displays this season. The Super Eagles star has contributed 20 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions this season.

Lookman has been constantly linked with a move to a bigger club, with teams like Arsenal, Barcelona, and Juventus in the mix.

The Super Eagles star is one of the most efficient wingers in Europe. And to accentuate that, Data MB released a ranking of wingers in the top seven leagues, and Lookman was named number five. The metric used was non-penalty expected goals and assists.

Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah, ranks number one. Then, Barcelona’s Raphinha is second, which is not surprising considering the great season he has had. His teammates Lamine Yamal follows in third, while Cole Palmer is fourth.

After Lookman, Mason Greenwood, Bradley Barcola, Michael Olise, Vinicius Jr, and Alex Baena make up the top ten.
