Offset took to his X, formerly Twitter, account to celebrate his single, “Bodies,” cracking the Billboard Hot 100.
Offset reposted a tweet from Billboard, which revealed the single, featuring JID, had debuted at No. 72.
His estranged wife, Cardi B, released her new single “Outside” on the same day, but she had better luck, with the single debuting at no.10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In his mentions, Offset’s followers accused his new single of being a “flop.”
“The way the other nikka saved ur flop a– n carried the song Cos if it was just you Bubbling under definitely,” one follower wrote under Offset’s tweet.
“That’s horrible talking about let’s go n—a go find another job,” another follower wrote.
Offset and Cardi B are in the middle of a bitter divorce and the rapper, who is reported to be millions in debt, has filed for alimony in a bid to get some of his bills paid. Both Cardi and Offset have moved on romantically, with Cardi openly dating NFL star Stefon Diggs.
