After meeting in 2009's Fast & Furious, Han and Gisele went on to become a power couple in the Fast & Furious franchise. The two lovers planned to move together to Tokyo, but those plans would ultimately not come to fruition as Gisele sacrificed herself in Fast & Furious 6. Han proceeded to move to Tokyo alone, where he himself met a tragic end after being T-boned in the streets. Both characters were confirmed to have died, and yet, both characters returned in Fast X.
