An Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force identified as Lawal Ibrahim, was reported to have died after a sex romp with female companion at Palasa Hotel in Gwagwalada, FCT Abuja.
He was said to have died following complications from a sex enhancing drug consumed to satisfy the female companion identified as Maryam Abba, who he had invited from Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
A Situation Report (Sitrep) by Gwagwalada Police dated Wednesday, January 15, indicated that he manager of the hotel reported the death incident at the Gwagwalada Police Division.
It gathered that the late Inspector Ibrahim with service number AP/NO. 203558, and attached to Kwali Division, had lodged at the hotel in company of Maryam Abba on Tuesday, January 14.
As stated in the report, the late Inspector Ibrahim died of sudden and unnatural death, after having two rounds of sex with Maryam Abba in the evening of January 14, and early hours of the following day.
A polythene bag containing water melon and drug suspected to be aphrodisiac was recovered from the scene of the incident, indicating that the police Inspector may have died of exhaustion, following alleged substance abuse.
The report also had it that Maryam Abba in her statement, confessed that she met the late Inspector Ibrahim on the social media some three months prior to when he invited her to the hotel at about 8:30pm on January 14. She further stated they both slept off after the first round of sex and the late Inspector woke her up at about 6:00am the following morning to have another round of sex.
According to her, it was after the second round that she discovered that the breathing of the late Inspector became erratic and he stopped moving. She said she sprinkled water on him to revive him but all to no avail.
The development made her to raise an alarm which alerted the management of the hotel, who subsequently rushed the Inspector to the UATH, Mine, where the doctor on duty confirmed him dead.
The corpse of the late police Inspector was deposited at the mortuary of the same hospital, while Maryam Abba has been detained and the case has been detailed for further investigation.
