SENATOR Ireti Kingibe, who represents the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has declared that residents of Abuja will express their dissatisfaction with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike during the forthcoming local government elections.
Speaking with newsmen, Kingibe accused Wike of being disconnected from the needs of the people he governs.
“The truth is that the people of the FCT resent Wike,” she said. “They are not pleased with his approach and his inability to address their concerns.”
According to the Senator, the upcoming council polls will act as a verdict on Wike’s tenure and performance in the capital territory.
“The people will show him who truly owns the FCT,” she added.
