The Enugu state Governor Chief. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has commissioned a 400 capacity ultra modern hostel at the Enugu State College of Education Technical, ESCET, barely few days to the end of his tenure.
The Governor who was represented by the Director Architectural Service, Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Ikechukwu Udejiofor, said that the state-of-the- art facility is one of the legacy projects of his administration, noting that it will create an enabling environment for better learning experience.

In remark, the project contractor and CEO, U.U Cheson Investment Company, (West Africa) Limited, Chief Uche Nzekwe, said that the 120 room hostel has modern facilities such as running water, power supply, wardrobes and executive conveniences.
Speaking after the commissioning of the hostel, Mazi Obiora Okereke commended Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for keeping to his promises up to the time of exiting office, noting that Peter Mbah-led administration will consolidate on Ugwuanyi’s achievement.
