Tinubu Administration to Launch Centralized Job Portal for Student Loan Beneficiaries by 2026
Naijaonpoint Media reports that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), has announced plans to unveil a centralized job portal by 2026.
The proposed platform will serve as a career support system for beneficiaries of the federal student loan scheme, helping them access employment opportunities both locally and internationally.
“This development is part of broader efforts to enhance the impact of the student loan scheme and support graduates toward financial independence,” the agency stated.
While NELFUND clarified that it will not directly guarantee employment, it emphasized that the initiative is designed to ease the transition of graduates into the labour market and connect them with relevant job opportunities.
The job portal is a key component of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on promoting economic growth, tackling youth unemployment, and laying a foundation for sustainable workforce development across the country.
