Nollywood actress and Queen of Surprises Empress Njamah has bitterly lamented over her inability to surprise her colleague, Mercy Johnson and her husband.
Kemi Filani reported on August 27th that Mercy Johnson and her husband celebrated their wedding anniversary, and two days later, the movie star celebrated her 40th birthday. Empress, who runs a surprise company, had tried to surprise the movie star for four days, but all her efforts were fruitless.
Narrating the incident on her YouTube page, she noted how she tried contacting the couple, but they didn’t respond. Empress revealed that she had tried reaching her through Yvonne Jegede, but it didn’t go through
Despite this, she described the actress as an amazing person as she celebrated her and her husband’s marital milestone. Empress recounted how she was with Mercy when she got married and is grateful that their marriage is still waxing stronger.

It wasn’t easy trying to surprise Mercy and her husband for four days.
For the first time in my years of surprising people, Mercy surprised me. I have been calling you but you haven’t been picking.
Happy birthday to an amazing person and happy anniversary. You know your anniversary means so much to me.
You know how we had sleepless nights on the night of your anniversary. How you were always checking up on your husband, if he was okay and I was in the hotel trying to get the Chief Bridesmaids and everybody ready. You cried a lot and was so sweet in the wedding”.
Kemi Filani reported on August 27th that Mercy Johnson and her husband, Prince Odi Okojie celebrated their 13th anniversary. Keeping her anniversary message short and simple, Mercy who was short of words expressed gratitude to her Maker, as she noted how it has been 13 years with so much memories.
Prince Okojie questioned what more he could say, as he appreciated his Maker for 13 blissful years with his wife.
The actress turned 40 on August 29th, but didn’t make noise over it. She shared photos of her and her family as she stated that they were all that matter to her.
Days before her birthday, she shared an adorable video of her, her husband and her two eldest kids. Counting her blessings, she noted how it has been 40 years with four kids and how she has a few honest and true friends and plenty of angry foes, yet she was thriving and winning. Questioning what more she could ask for, she expressed gratitude to her Maker.
On her birthday eve, Johnson shared a video on her Instagram page of her kids producing a rap song for her. Her son, Henry no doubt has the rap talent as he killed the song with his lyrics.
