Nollywood actress Regina Daniels is celebrating her famous mother, Rita Daniels, on her birthday today.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a collage of photos of herself and her mother over the years, she described her mother as her “God on earth,” who teaches her everything.
Raining prayers on her, Regina appreciated Rita for being a source of love and strength in her life and in their family. She stated that she is forever her daughter and always her biggest admirer.
“Happy Birthday to my God on earth, who means everything to me. May God continue to bless you with good health and a long life. May your hands never be empty, your steps never be weary, and your smile never fade. Thank you for being a source of love and strength in my life and in our family. In 2023, Regina celebrated her mother’s birthday at the grassroots by donating bags of rice and other food items to the widows, orphans, and elders in the community. Recounting the event, Regina revealed that she did it in honour of her mother, who she described as her oracle, queen, pride, and pillar.
The love and bond between Regina and her mother are admirable, as they are never shy about expressing their love for each other.
Last year, Regina had heaped praises on her mother. Feeling emotional, the mother of two boys praised her mother, identifying her as her God and guardian. She wished to continue to be her daughter because of her mother’s guidance.
The mother-daughter duo had turned heads as they attended the 40th anniversary celebration of the Celestial Church in Abuja. Regina had donated N2 million to the church, and her mother donated N500k.
Daniels shared a cute video online where her mother asked her to wash plates in a basin outside the house. Her younger sister Destiny even said that no one should make a video of her in that state because she was too global for such things. At some point in the video, Regina Daniels’ mother started singing for her while she continued washing plates.
After welcoming her second child in Jordan in 2022, Regina spoilt her mother with the finest of luxury as she treated her to a shopping spree where Regina splashed millions on a gold chain for her. Regina told her mum that she wouldn’t remember this in the future, and her mother responded by showering her with love as she described her as her love.
