FrieslandCampina Lifts NASD OTC Exchange by 0.16%

FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc led the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange to its third straight gain with a 0.16 per cent appreciation on Wednesday, November 19.

This raised by the market capitalisation by N3.46 billion to N2.173 trillion from N2.169 trillion and increased the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) by 5.78 points to 3,632.52 points from the previous day’s 3,626.74 points.

The price of FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc inflated yesterday by N1.77 to close at N56.00 per share compared with the N54.23 per share it ended on Tuesday.

During the session, the volume of securities traded by investors decreased by 84.6 per cent to 90,976 units from the previous day’s 589,688 units, the value of securities declined by 87.7 per cent to N3.4 million from N27.5 million, and the number of deals shrank by 50 per cent to 11 deals from 22 deals.

Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company (InfraCredit) Plc closed the session as the most traded stock by value with a year-to-date sale of 5.8 billion units valued at N16.4 billion, followed by Okitipupa Plc with 170.3 million units transacted for N8.0 billion, and Air Liquide Plc with 507.4 million units worth N4.2 billion.

InfraCredit Plc was also the most traded stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with 5.8 billion units traded for N16.4 billion, trailed by Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc with 1.2 billion units sold for N419.7 million, and Impresit Bakolori Plc with 536.9 million units worth N524.9 million.
