The footage of Nigerian artist Portable hopping over a spiky gate to avoid arrest has amused many online users.
The musician was arrested following a complaint filed by a car dealer to whom he owed money.
Portable had commenced the purchase of a N27 million G-Wagon from the dealer, making an initial payment and promised to pay the balance soon.
When confronted by the dealer, he broke his agreement and claimed that the car had mechanical troubles.
Despite requests to return the vehicle or settle the outstanding debt, the musician allegedly refused.
The dealer then contacted the police, which led to Portable’s arrest.
Although he initially managed to escape, a spokesperson for the Lagos state police command has confirmed that he has since been apprehended.
