The assistant manager of Galatasaray, Ismael Garcia, has spoken highly of Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, highlighting the positive influence the forward has had since joining the club.
Victor Osimhen made the transition to Galatasaray on a one-year loan from Napoli during the summer transfer window, and he has quickly become a key player in the squad.
Since his arrival, the Nigerian international has made a significant impact on the field, netting four goals and contributing three assists across just seven matches in all competitions for the Yellow and Reds. His ability to find the back of the net and assist teammates has quickly earned him admiration from fans and coaches alike.
Garcia elaborated on Osimhen’s seamless integration into the team, praising his attitude and work ethic.
He noted, “Victor has displayed remarkable intelligence and humility since he arrived at our club. The majority of our squad has been intact for the past two years, during which we have celebrated back-to-back championship victories.
“Osimhen has joined us in a very smart manner, making a conscious effort to blend in with the existing group rather than asserting himself as a typical star player. He did not come with the expectation that the club would adjust to him; instead, he has approached this situation with a refreshing humility and an impressive commitment to hard work.”
Osimhen is set to showcase his talents once again when Galatasaray face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, at the RAMS Park.
