Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S24 FE, last week. Following the event, the company also uploaded an official unboxing video of the phone on its YouTube channel. Now, that the device has launched, some YouTube channels have already started uploading teardown videos of the new Galaxy S24 FE. One such YouTube channel is PBKreviews.
A teardown video gives a better inside look at the Galaxy S24 FE
The teardown video uploaded by PBKreviews gives a close look at the internal components of the new Fan Edition phone. The video first starts by showcasing the rear back and the front of the device to show how it compares to its predecessor. In the video, you can see the external body of the Galaxy S24 FE which looks almost identical to last year’s Galaxy S23 FE.
However, the front now has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED 2X display, which is marginally larger than the 6.4-inch display on the Galaxy S23 FE. In fact, if you stand both devices side-by-side, you won’t be able to tell which is which.
That said, there’s a major change on the inside which quietly sits under the graphite film located on the motherboard. When the graphite film is peeled off, you can see the thermal paste on top of the RAM, which sits over the Galaxy S24 FE’s Exynos 2400e.
The new Fan Edition phone has a slightly larger vapor chamber than its predecessor
There are a few more noticeable components like the new battery with a 4700 typical capacity. After removing the battery with the pull tabs, you’ll see a slightly larger vapor chamber of the Galaxy S24 FE. Precisely, the vapor chamber on the Galaxy S24 FE is 10% larger than on the Galaxy S23 FE.
In the teardown video, the Galaxy S24 FE grabbed an 8.5 (out of 10) repairability score. Notably, the rating is exactly the same as the Galaxy S23 FE from last year. That’s not all, the teardown video ends with a seamless assembly process.
Here, it is important to mention that Samsung has announced seven long years of support for this device. That means, this support also includes the availability of the internal components.
